First Step: The Strategic Change Partnership's consulting process begins with a meeting to discuss and assess the organization's current state; vision, mission, and values; desired state, and any known obstacles to successful strategic change.

An important second step is to administer appropriate Kolbe Index(es) to leaders and other employees to better understand what inspires each team member to take action.

If appropriate, we also conduct a thorough HR Audit to assess the effectiveness of the HR function and its potential to move the organization forward. Once these steps have been completed, a high-level organizational assessment and recommendation are provided to the CEO and/or leadership team to ensure that the purpose of the engagement is clearly understood and OUR efforts are consistent with the CEO's intent and the team's expectations.

Typically, we work with the leadership team and HR management or, for smaller organizations, with the CEO or CFO to develop solutions that best meet the organization's needs and expectations. 

Whether working with executives and management on leadership development and communications improvement issues; providing assistance with specific HR issues; designing more effective HR policies, procedures or programs; or assisting the CEO, leadership team, and/or HR management as they lead strategic change initiatives, we can be counted on to provide excellent service and value adding results.

         

The Strategic Change Partnership was founded in 2009 by Tom Swedberg, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, an experienced executive, thought leader, strategist, coach, and OD practitioner.

Experience

In addition to more than 30 years of related executive and leadership experience, Tom is a graduate of the University of Minnesota. He also earned a MBA at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.

He is a graduate of Western CUNA Management School for Credit Union executives.

He is a Kolbe Certified Consultant, utilizing Kolbe WisdomTM for individual and organizational assessment; and as the basis for helping organizations develop more capable leaders and form more effective teams.
